These are new activities for Bali Asli and are all about new experiences involving interaction with local cultures and people.
Jamu and Other Magical Potions
This Culinary Encounter will ignite your passion for natural medicines.
You will be introduced to many of the plants and spices that the Balinese forage for to make their traditional potions. As you discover their medicinal as well as magical qualities of these ingredients, you will make a selection of “Jamu” or medicinal potions to sample.
Then enjoy the sunset with some home fermented fruit ciders, juices and Balinese snacks.

Spirits of Bali
Encounter the Balinese spirits up close and personal in a surprisingly different way.
Learn how to make some of Bali Asli’s famous cocktails! Bali Asli only uses locally fermented and distilled alcohol on our cocktail menu. Some we make at Bali Asli and some we source from our extended family in the villages nearby.
We will make three of our most popular cocktails or non-alcoholic drinks.
Enjoy these with home made Balinese nibbles as the sun sets over Mount Agung.

Have some fun getting dressed up and learning some of the traditional dance moves.
You will be served with our home roasted Balinese coffee or Indonesian tea and Karangasem style sweet treats during your morning encounter before walking back to Bali Asli.
